When you get your new Fiscal Finance upgrade you will, no doubt, wish to get straight into it. So here is what you can expect.

NB: You should back up your data before trying to install the new version.

1. Install the upgrade just as you have done before. The installer should pick up the location of the previous install and prompt that location. Download the install file from here

You can download the "Getting Started Guide" from here (right mouse click to download pdf file)

The installer will replace all of the older files and delete old files no longer needed.

2. When the installation is completed, run the Fiscal Finance Desktop Utility (found on your desktop) to create a menu down in your system tray.

3. Select the Enter Registration item from that menu

4. Click on the register button on the toolbar (if the toolbar appears - otherwise move to the next step)

5. Enter your registered name in the company name field (case sensitive) - Your registered name is found on any documentation from us addressed to you.

6. Select the correct version of Fiscal Finance that you currently subscribe to.

7. Click on the web activation button. A 16 digit code should be retrieved from our web servers.

8. Click on the Register button.

9. If successful, you are ready to go. Close down the registration windows.

There are also some jump start tutorials on the web site, if you need to see the new versions in general operation.

Problems?

Even though we test the various modules thoroughly, there is always a chance that we may have missed something. However, due to the large number of Fiscal Finance users, if you should pick up any problems or issues, we would ask that you use the contact form initially. This will allow us to quickly determine if there is something that needs fixing in a hurry, and we will do so.

We are confident that you will still find the programs easy to use, and will not find any problems.
